About Alex Flint

Alex is the founder of Body Torque Online and Gym which is located in Newmarket, Auckland and is a leading strength and conditioning coach.  

With over 25 years experience in the health and fitness industry, Alex holds a Bachelor of Physical Education, is a Level 3 Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and is certified in Applied Sports Nutrition.  

Using his wealth of knowledge and expertise, Alex has designed Body Torque to specifically help men and women become fitter, stronger and healthier after 40.  His innovative approach combines a deep understanding of the human body and science-backed training methods with cutting edge technology, including 3D body scanning and real-time heart rate monitoring, to deliver personalised and effective training programs.

As the official trainer for TV’3’s Match Fit and Game On series, Alex has guided former All Blacks, New Zealand League players, NZ Silver Fern Netballers as well as Hollywood stars, a UFC fighter and everyday people through transformative fitness and wellness journeys.
